I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Google (Palo Alto, CA) in Jan 2021
Interview
pretty good - they spoke in a soft tone of voice and helped me realise some things about myself that i would have otherwise been oblivious to. This led me to realise that I probably wasn't cut out for the cutthroat nature of the work i applied for
CV sent in. Phone interview, then in person interview. Waited about a week, then got a phone call, followed up with email confirming offer of employment. Started two weeks later.

Question 1
My previous experience, fromy previous employment.
A few weeks ago, I received a call from Google for an interview for the role of Janitor. Excited and a bit intimidated (I mean, it’s Google!), I prepared myself for what could be a very thorough and unique interview process.
Round 1: Phone Screening The recruiter asked some basic questions like:
“Why do you want to be a janitor at Google?”
“Can you tell me about a time when you had to solve a problem under pressure?”
I gave an example of how I once unclogged a sink during a high-stakes office party without anyone noticing. They seemed impressed.

Question 1
"How would you handle a coffee spill in a high-traffic area during a big product launch event?"
I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Google (Los Angeles, CA) in Oct 2024
Interview
Great, open, honest process. Transparent and clear. Timeline about what to expect was good, benefits and upward mobility even for a janitor was nice. Looking forward to seeing what happens with everything else.
