I applied in-person. I interviewed at H E B (Stephenville, TX) in July 2013
Interview
Pretty easy, straight to the point. Submit online on their website or go into the store and ask to talk to the manager. If you haven't heard back about your application, give them a call. After you're hired there's a background and drug test. Then you do online training at the store. They give you 2 shirts to start off with, then they put you on the schedule. Either before or after, you'll complete your TABC class.
They want to get to know you, and if you have an open schedule you're more likely to get hired.
