I did a private interview and a group interview, and know people who had 2 private interviews. The group interview was sales pitches and dealing with customers, very hands on. They expected me to know a good bit about HEB and have a love for it.

(as a customer) Why should I shop at HEB as opposed to other brands?
very easy basic questions. they had an example bagging question of how would you bag these 2-4 items together and it’s mostly common sense. interview was quick maybe took 15 minutes max
It was thorough and simple. They really cared about the company and wanted the best people for that job. Very delighted to work for this company. I no longer work here but the brotherhood you get from this company is not like any other

Digital interview done with the application then an in person interview lots of behavioral and some situational questions did a walkthrough of the store after the interview very friendly and conversational
