I applied in-person. I interviewed at H&R Block (Denver, NC) in Jan 2016
Interview
My neighbor called to see if I was willing to work at H&R Block as a receptionist for the tax season. An appointment was scheduled to have an interview with the office manager.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Could I multi task?
Would I be willing to work certain hours.
I can not recall any more questions.
It was very easy and the interviewer was very friendly and encouraging. Even when I didn’t exactly answer a question well they gave me some feedback on what to do when the situation actually happened.
Pretty basic, two people interview you, ask you to explain your resume and the typical questions of what you would do in xy situation. Pretty easy, not too much pressure.
Interview is usually a single virtual interview with one of two managers. The interview is about 20-30 minutes long. First it starts with simple basic questions, then moves to longer situational questions, and then ended with logistical questions like availability, pay, etc.
