Interview was standard, took no less than 30mins to go through everything since it was retail reviewed my application and heard back within a week. Overall I enjoyed interviewing and since it was an entry level job the feedback was immediate.
They Said they would get back to me never did. The lady was very nice but you can tell they had other people to interview after . I think it went well the question were easy though i got intimidated by the store . it was very cluttered and i worried that cleaning it must be a pain.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Hot Topic (Muncie, IN) in Sept 2018
Interview
I was recruited from a different store in the mall. The next day, I had an interview with the Store Manager and the District Manager. It was a mix between professional and more laidback get-to-know-you questions that really helped me feel comfortable. As this is a management position, you will be asked a lot about your managing and training styles. After I passed the first interview, I had a second with the store manager again. This was to really make sure I was a fit for the team. Make sure you are able to name your favorite bands, movies, and shows and justify them. Feel free to binge watch some Harry Potter, Dr. Who, or Supernatural so you can relate to more customers. It’ll be helpful reference points for the pop culture questions in the interview.
