Got reached out to by a recruiter and scheduled an interview, first interview went well and had a second interview the following week. Total time for both interviews was about 2 weeks. After second interview they told me it would be a couple weeks before a decision is made. The hiring manager seemed very disinterested and like she was rushing my interview and was only in the interview because she had to and she probably had already picked her candidate. I then heard nothing for 4 weeks. Reached out 1 week after my last interview, heard nothing reached out again 2 weeks later to the hiring manager, heard nothing but the next day they updated my application in the system saying I was "no longer under consideration". Would have been nice to know that sooner versus keeping someone hopes up. Neither the recruiter nor the hiring manager replied to my emails but today I finally got a rejection email. How nice.
