      Graduate Software Development Interview

      7 July 2015
      Anonymous interview candidate

      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at IBM (London, England)

      Interview

I applied online few weeks ago. I done the IPAT test. All questions were related to logical and numerical aspects. The questions themselves were not difficult but the time is very short. Only 2:15 minutes for each question so it is . They told me I passed the IPAT test yesterday. But they emailed me this morning that they looked at my application and their company has high standard so they cannot proceed my application to the next stage. I phoned them ask for feedback but they weren't very friendly and patient. They said they are not able to provide me any feedback because there are too many applications. But it is not easy for us to apply a role with them. It took me a half day to fill their own application form and another day to prepare for the IPAT test. If I didn't pass the test, I can totally understand their rejection. But I passed it then they told me I am not good enough. Shouldn't they look at the application form first? Why it is impossible for them to offer us a reason for rejection which may only cost them few minutes after us spending about two days for it. This is the worst interview experience I had.
