I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at IDEXX Laboratories (Westbrook, ME)
Interview
The recruiter was amazing. She was very thorough and had a tough phone interview. When it came time to do the face to face interview, this is where things fell apart. The people interviewing me switched at the last moment to outbound managers, which I thought was odd. They asked extremely basic questions. This role requires you to do a “phone test” to see how well you do. They didn’t even have me do that, which was a bit unfair. I was more than qualified for the job and ended up getting an automatic message weeks later that I didn’t get the role. Not a good experience. Also the facility I was in smelled terrible.
I applied online. I interviewed at IDEXX Laboratories (Portland, ME) in July 2019
Interview
The start of the interview was very typical. Standard questions regarding previous experience and why I would be a good fit for the role. The exercise that was done was odd. They gave a model customer account with some account details and allowed you to review it for approximately 10 minutes before leaving the room and allowing you to perform the "sales call". The call was pretty standard checking on the account and selling some office supplies.

Interview
Interview was conducted by two senior staffers. It was a little dry and stuffy from start to finish. No real personality or feel for how it would be working for Idexx.
