I applied online on the 5th of January and was asked immediately to complete online tests, numerical reasoning, verbal and situational judgement test. In three days' time I was informed that I passed to the next stage and got invited to book my telephone interview via the website. The interview lasted for about 40 minutes and it was not particularly stressful. It was a competency-based interview. Questions included: Tell me about the boarder issues the economy is currently facing. Why tobacco industry? Why IT? Why HR? Why this programme? Recent challenge + action: Tell me a time when you put effort to know something better in order to achieve an outstanding achievement. Tell me a time when you delivered quality Tell me about a time you worked in a team. Tell me a time when you helped someone achieve an outstanding achievement. Long term career goals Tell me a time when you had to work under pressure? How do you deal with stress? What will you be doing in your first year? Strength and weakness and how you will use it.

The process was quite fun and entertaining. I went through all the phases of the process, including two final interviews, but I didn't ger the job and instead of letting me know, they just forgot about me. I even emailed and called HR and couldn't get a hold of them. After around 8 months in a selection process, the least that I expect is an email.
