I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Intel Corporation
Interview
I got the interview call via senior referral. Nothing very difficult. It was a 1 hour long interview. I had a chance to ask questions about the position. Basic knowledge of physical vlsi design, computer architecture, scripting, c++, verilog and knowledge about backend tools would be enough to crack any Intel intern position
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Basic questions on logic design, perl scripting and unix commands. Questions were on basic unix commands like grep, find etc. Design questions were on latch design using pass transistors, transistor sizing, components of power consumption, how to reduce the power, static timing analysis questions like fixing setup and hold time violations. Perl questions like finding duplicate words in a file. . Good luck!

Simple. Talk about your projects, how would you interact with people given certain situations. Soft skills, talk about your technical projects and skills, discuss things on cv. All very straight forward
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Intel Corporation (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2020
Interview
Two short 30 min interviews.
One behavioral, one technical.
Behavioral was with the manager I worked under.
Technical with with the Senior engineer I worked with.
The behavioral came before the technical asking some general questions about the tech stack of the company and my experience with it. How well I worked with team management software, and how I as a person liked to work.
