I applied online. I interviewed at JetBlue (Chelsea, MA) in Jan 2019

      Interview

so if you've done your research and read about these interviews they are all the same. It doesn't matter where you sit while waiting for the interview process to start because you don't sign in and they just shuffle your resumes and call you in groups of 3's pertaining to what you applied for. The interview itself was easy to me you have to basically outshine the other 2 candidates which was no problem for me. Te kicker is if you apply for full-time and are called for an interview you are stuck with that position for 3 months. until your probation period is up, which they stress you cannot get anybody else to cover your shift, after that you can bid to move to part-time or change your hours. there is plenty of OT which is great, and you get buddy passes as soon as you start and discounted flights at 20% off. I wish i had know more info about the job before I applied for Full time. I would have applied for part-time and just picked up hours as i needed. If you like to travel i'd say apply for part-time because basically you have a certain amount of hours you have to work in a month so if you did doubles for 2 weeks you have officially earned the next 2 weeks off now you can travel because your work time quota is filled. sweet right. I mean you could do that with full-time 2 but it would be hard 16 hours days for 2 weeks i couldn't imagine with the physical work you are doing all day (yikes) but none of this was in any of the reviews on this site so i hoped i helped some of you out. The pay to me is weak almost $15 for the stuff you will be doing i assumed it would be much more, because had I know this i would have definitely applied for part-time. Another thing you can travel on the probation period with buddy passes but they caution against it because if you get stuck somewhere tropical you'll be axed. If your late they can fire you. buddy passes are linked to you so if somebody using it is unruly etc..you can get fired behind it. choose wisely.. I got emails pretty fast after the interview every step i completed i got another email pretty much the next day telling me my next step. you will need a 10-year work verification so don"t lie, they have to verify it and they have a place where you can explain any gaps in work history which i had to do. I wasn't very consistent in working OVER THE years so relax and just tell the truth i did. TIP:(start getting work verification's from your old jobs some of my jobs would not just print out a quick sheet stating my time working for them) SMH i had to go through a whole process, so right after the interview start working on that makes your process quicker and smoother). THE TRAINING is in Florida so you get flewed out( lol) for a week everything is included so don't worry. If you have kids and have a feeling you are gonna get the job start trying to make arrangements after you get a email to do a drug test that's one of the last stages to getting hired so you are definitely in the running. Oh once i was fingerprinted she asked me did i need 2 wks for any of my jobs I said no so she wrote that down that i'm ready to fly out asap. That is the last step just waiting to hear back now but she said my background check came back clear she was surprised i was all set to go my fingerprints won't say anything different so hopefully i'll get a email tomorrow or later today. The next class is feb 5,2019 so excited ya'll good luck. TIP: read the interview questions on here and write down our answers and just read them off when doing the automated interview. Once again good luck on becoming a baby blue.
