I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Juniper Networks (Bengaluru) in Jan 2016
Interview
Only one round of interview. Interview process is good. Hiring Manager was good. Took not much time. Maintained good time. Over all the Interview process was awesome and liked very much. Got an Offer also easily.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Juniper Networks (San Jose, CA) in Aug 2015
Interview
HR replied via email... asked to answer 10 specific questions. #9) WHAT IS YOUR CURRENT SALARY and #10) WHAT ARE ASKING FOR YOUR NEW SALARY. Companies play this game in order to preclude any negotiation / fair salary discussion. Because I kindly deferred to the "This information is confidential and respectfully request the salary range which Juniper expects to pay"
They then threw my resume in the garbage can. I have been burned by this tactic before, that time cost me $15K per year over 2+ years. The only way to stop it is to not answer. There really should be a law against it (much like the 'What is your facebook password ?' law).
