Four interview total. first, interview with a member of HR in NJ. Very comfortable and logical conversation. Well explained roles for the position. Second, interview with a manager of the laboratory in NJ. Questions are not tricky rather straightforward. Explained the duties well for the position. Third, interview with a hiring manager in Japan. again he asked direct questions. had a good time. Last, interview with a director of R&D. Emphasis on multi-cultural environment. If you are experienced with cultural diversity, you will fit for the environment
Le processus a commencé par une candidature en ligne via le site carrière de L'Oréal. Environ deux semaines plus tard, j'ai été contacté par une recruteuse RH pour un premier entretien téléphonique d'environ 30 minutes. Ensuite, j'ai eu un entretien technique d'une heure en visioconférence avec le futur manager de l'équipe et un chercheur senior. Pour la dernière étape, j'ai été invité sur site pour une demi-journée comprenant une présentation de mes travaux de thèse, une étude de cas à analyser (portant sur le développement d'un nouveau polymère biodégradable pour un produit capillaire) et un entretien final avec le directeur du département. Au total, le processus s'est étalé sur environ cinq semaines. Les échanges étaient globalement professionnels et les interlocuteurs plutôt clairs sur les attentes, notamment sur l'importance de l'innovation et de la durabilité

Je dirais que la difficulté était Difficile. Les questions techniques étaient très pointues, en particulier sur la synthèse et la caractérisation des polymères, et l'étude de cas demandait une bonne capacité d'analyse et de proposition de solutions innovantes sous contrainte de temps. Il fallait vraiment maîtriser son sujet et être capable de justifier ses choix scientifiques.
Interview process was ok, it could always be simpler. It had a group phase with a case to be solved and later on an interview with manager. Previously an online application took place. That had a lot of useless information to be fullfilled
