Difficult interview
Application
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Labcorp (Boston, MA) in Aug 2015
Interview
This interview was a phone screen. It was very thorough initial screening, probably one of the most difficult I have encountered in a while. I thought it was a great introduction to the expected standards of the company, and I was pleased that they were taking the time to test the knowledge of each candidate.

Question 1
Not the typical "where do you see yourself in five years" they seemed to actually care about your professional knowledge and what you can bring to the position.
I applied online and was contacted by an HR recruiter for a phone screen pretty much immediately. I responded promptly but never heard back from her. I was then contacted by another HR recruiter for the same position and he did get back to me. The first interview was a phone screen -- a few technical questions, he explained the role, and he was pleasant and friendly. Within a few days, I was invited for a 1.5-hour interview with two managers. It started out pleasant enough, if not overly welcoming. Several technical questions, hypothetical situation-based questions, and lastly STAR behavioral questions -- make sure you know your therapeutic area well. Unfortunately, I felt very uncomfortable in this interview and was interrupted several times mid-sentence. One of the managers also wrongly interpreted my resume a few times and the other manager had to correct her. Overall, it was not a very pleasant experience. At this point, I knew it wouldn't be a good fit for me. This was unfortunate, as I'd been quite passionate about the company and the position. But it was a good reminder to reassess opportunities during the interview phase: candidates are interviewing the company as much as they're being interviewed for the position.

Question 1
What is ECOG? What is a RECIST? What's an FDA 1572? Name a few medications and your knowledge of how they might be used to treat a disease. Tell me about a time when you had a disagreement with someone you worked with.
I applied online. I interviewed at Labcorp (São Paulo, São Paulo) in Aug 2022
Interview
I did an interview with the manager and with human resources. I got a call from human resources scheduled the interview and then talked to the manager and the human resources staff.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
About my experience. Difficulties in working as a team. Examples of monitoring work.
I was asked about general questions on clinical research and my experiences on case specific examples. Going through your experiences so far for giving certain examples of where you were expected to take initiative and made difference would differentiate you from other candidates.
