Initially, the communication was quite good and I was excited to start the interview process. During the first round of interviews, there were some apparent internal issues as one of the leaders spoke poorly about another. That’s a red flag, but I continued with the process. After delivering what I thought was a strong in person interview with a cross functional team, the communication broke down. The dates that I was provided several times were not met, and I told them I had another opportunity and offer. I ended up backing out of the process, which is a shame, because I think it could’ve been a great opportunity for myself, and for them. With some of the cultural issues, I observed, I have doubts whether this start up is going to make it. So I would proceed cautiously.
