I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Listen (MA) (Boston, MA) in June 2025
Interview
They wrote to me:
Thank you for your interest in the Technical Support Engineer role at Listen, Inc, and for taking the time to submit your application. We've reviewed your profile and are impressed with your background.
We'd like to invite you to an introductory call with our Support Manager, Mark Latshaw, to discuss the role and your experience in more detail. Would you be available for a call next week? Please let me know what days and times work best for you.
To give you a better understanding of our interview process, here's an outline of the subsequent steps:
Introductory Call: This initial call with Mark will be an opportunity for you to learn more about the team and the role, and for us to get to know you better.
Presentation: Following the introductory call, you may be invited for a final-stage interview. If you are local, this will be an in-person presentation at our office in Boston, Massachusetts. If you are not local, this will be conducted via video call. For this presentation, we ask candidates to prepare a topic of their choice – it could be a project you worked on in school or another subject you're passionate about. This presentation will be attended by the support team, managers from other departments, and our president, Steve Temme.
Further Discussions and Reference Checks: After the presentation stage, we typically request 2-3 professional references. There may also be additional one-on-one conversations before a final decision is made.
We believe this multi-stage process allows us to thoroughly evaluate candidates and ensures a good fit for both you and our team.
Please let me know your availability for a brief introductory call with Mark at the end of this week or beginning of next week. We look forward to hearing from you.
