I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Litmus Group (Sydney) in Mar 2013
Interview
I contacted a partner of the firm on Linkedin and sent him my CV. I was called by the HR rep for a initial chat on phone.
Next I was called for a f2f interview with two partners in the Sydney office. The questions were based on my CV and why did I choose Litmus to apply for despite being from a Big4 background.
Based on the feedback of my partner interview I was called for an interview with one of the principal and HR Manager. The interview was based on further deep discussion on my CV and judging my tolerance to ambiguity in job situation and again they were skeptical of me being fitting in the culture coming from Big4.

Interview
There were 2 rounds of interviews after a phone call with Recruitment. First round was a behavioural interview to assess competence and cultural fit. Second round was a case study with a Partner. Case studies are not strategy questions. Questions are implementation focused and ask to demonstrate a practical skill like drawing process maps or designing operating models.
