First, I went to a Lockheed Martin event at my university where various managers were talking to the students just like in a career fair, but they spent about 15 minutes talking with each student. It was like a hiring event. After two weeks of the event, I was sent an email saying that they wanted an in-person interview. At the interview, there were many other students, trying to fill in about 50 positions that were available, and they came from all over the U.S. The interviews were 1 hour long, nothing technical, mainly behavioral. I had to tell stories of what I had done before in the STAR format, plus talk about my resume. One of my interviews was a typical interview, with questions like "where do you see yourself in 5 years,'' and another I did not get any of those questions since the manager just wanted me to explain my resume. Don't be afraid of the interviewers, at least my interviewers were very nice with me. I followed the advice from the book "College Students: Do This! Get Hired!" which helped me a lot and highly recommend. The recruiters gave us a bag with goodies at the end, like key chains and glasses, which was not expected. Lastly, I got an offer after 1 week of the interview.
