Interview
You fill out an online application, if it is denied the first time, just apply again. It does that sometimes to ensure you ARE interested in the job they are offering. After that, it will email you a link to pick an interview date. ARRIVE a little early. Just in case they need to go find the manager you're interviewing for. Extremely laid back, but at the same time, intimidating enough to make you feel like you ARE at an interview, if that makes sense. The cosmetics manager interviewed me because I was referred to macy's by someone who already worked there. WHICH HELPS, because they hardly ever look outside for cosmetics associates. Afterward, they have the cosmetic line call you, talk to you a bit, and then schedule you for a talent plus interview (personality test).
Very unorganized interview process, by the time they got back to me I already accepted another offer. I don’t even think they knew I was suppose to have an interview that day. Confusion from start to finish

Interview
the interview was straightforward and the manager was very friendly and professional. The interview was also very long and thorough. I would come extra prepared and with a highly professional attitude.
