I applied online. I interviewed at Macy's (Redmond, WA) in Sept 2017
Interview
The interview was very easy, especially if you already had prior experience as a flex associate. The interview was very long - it took about 45 minutes to an hour. Very basic questions were asked, ones that were more related to your experience in selling, your ability to influence and simple behavioral questions.
I applied online. I interviewed at Macy's (Downey, CA) in Oct 2020
Interview
I went in for an interview and the entire thing took like maybe 10 minutes at the most. They asked me some pretty basic interview questions and also had me run through scenarios for customers, like someone asking for advice for prom, what would you do if you got an upset customer, how would you present a new item for purchase that kind of thing.

Interview
The first interview is with the beauty manager at Macy’s. After, you will have an interview with the Clinique regional manager. If you have even some experience with makeup or makeup application, the interviews should be very easy.

Question 1
How would you help a customer who is looking for a makeover for prom?
I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Macy's (Chicago, IL) in June 2019
Interview
Upon applying I received an email to schedule an interview for myself, considering the store is huge it took me about 5 min to find the executive offices and when I got there the receptionist said I was late and I would have to go back the next day, I wasted time and money getting there just to be sent back for being 5 min late. The next day I went and the guy interviewing me was only on his phone and took a phone call in the middle of me speaking, I really expected more professionalism from this big company.
