I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Macy's (Orlando, FL) in Nov 2011
Interview
Originally I applied for fragrance sales. I walked into HR and had to sign in with the receptionist. I waited for at least 30 min until a man came to interview me we went to his office and her asked me a lot of sale, customer service and how to sell more. He gave me a lot of options of where i could work. Such as part time juniors and kids which is non commission area and or flex team where I make my own schedule and can work in every area in the store apart from cosmetics and shoes. I was hired on the spot.

Interview
Interview was short. Interview was informal. Seemed desperate for help. Talked a little about past retail experience and got offer at the end of the interview. Couldn't find a manager to interview me at first, finding a manager to conduct the interview took longer than the actual interview. Manager was a new manager and seemed as nervous as me .

Interview
I applied online and within two day I got an email that said I had been selected for an interview. I was really nervous for the interview but the manager was extremely nice. I was hired on the spot

Interview
Everything is done online, which is convenient. The actual interview was horrible though; I passed about four associates on my way in, and no one could be bothered to look at me. I stood in a small office area for almost ten minutes before anyone in the back office could be bothered to help me, and the interviewer was rather unpleasant. Didn't ask my name, didn't shake my hand, and tried to avoid making eye contact. I was led to a small room, asked a series of questions off of a list and then told they would contact me in a few days. Worst interviewing experience ever!
