I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Macy's (Kennewick, WA) in July 2014
Interview
Canned and dishonest. The interviewer waited until the very end to inform me that he was just fishing (head-hunting) for possible future employees, maybe 6 months to a year from then, if certain types of positions opened up. I'm heard that routine before, so I left knowing I'd never hear from him again, and I was correct. He was just wasting time to get a paycheck in his name, and that was all. This was at their Kennewick Furniture branch, in case Macy's Corporate is wondering who to fire next (if he's even still there by now).
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Standard questions found online. I don't remember the specifics, as this was years ago.
I went to the store at the Stoneridge mall, and had a sit down interview with who I believe is the manager. It was a very easy process. We sat at a table, across from each other, and he asked me a few questions. I got a job offer on the spot.
Applied online and got called for an interview. The interview lasted 15 mins. The interviewer asked general interview questions. He asked about my prior working experience. He also asked about my availability.
