The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Macy's (Augusta, GA) in June 2010
Interview
I applied online through Macy's website. Either later that day or the next day I recieved an email telling me to choose on interview time. The interview was for later in the week. When I went into the interview I had to fill out another assessment, even though it looked rather simular to the one I had already taken. After I finished that I had to wait for a member of the management team. I was then taken to a managers office and interviewed. It was a basic interview with the usual types of questions. The manager kept saying good and oh!! throughout the interview. I thought the interview had went great. I was then told that there were no open postions. Then what was the purpase of me even doing an interview?
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
None, all my questions were about work expierience.
Was interviewed for a seasonal position. Was told they have no seasonal positions, once they found out I was a college student. Made no sense to me quickly ended the interview.
The interview process was straightforward and fairly quick. It started with a phone interview from a recruiter or hiring representative who asked general questions about my background, availability, and interest in the role. The tone was professional but conversational, and the interviewer focused on making sure I could handle a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
I had one interview with the store manager and it lasted for about 45 minutes. The interview was all standard behavioral questions. I was offered the job on the spot.
