I applied online. I interviewed at Macy's (Atlanta, GA) in July 2021
Interview
Had several interviews then a panel. Was asked to deliver a pretty intense product project which wasn't even looked at. (Only small companies ask you to do a project. I usually never do the projects, presentations or tests. The big respected companies never ask for this.) I included a detailed product video presentation of a new digital product on the market. I developed a full UX/UI website and mobile app concept. Way above anything others turned in due to the skill and software involved. In the panel interview the kept asking if I had retail experience? Really? I believe they pull folks right out of the perfume department and put them into Product Management. Wow, I will never apply at Macy's again.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Q. Tell us about our retail experience.
Q. How do you expect to do this job if you have never worked the perfume counter. (No kidding)
First there was a phone call, got details about job and company. Then a virtual interview with team and director. Tour of office after. Good overall experience. Not hard, felt personal

Question 1
Past experience and why I think I would be a good fit.

Zuerst gab es ein persönliches Gespräch und im Anschluss eine Case Study. Diese ging um einen theoretischen Business Case der Firma. Das persönliche Gespräch ging um meine Person und die Motivation und Erfahrungen die ich mitbringe
