Macy's Director, Content Strategy interview questions

I am a previous VP and C-level employee at corporate headquarters many years ago, I was referred through manager at one of the stores after she promised to get me in. The hiring manager started the interview by telling me they already hired someone else yet he wanted to meet me anyway being I am the rockstar responsible for all the brand campaigns Macy's uses to this day, then he proceeded to ask me for (unpaid) advice on running his department.
