      Interaction Designer Interview

      6 Apr 2010
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Manulife in Mar 2009

      Interview

I had to demonstrate to the manager of the area I was applying to that I had skill in programming, as well as developing scalable interfaces. I prepared a quick mock up of one of their existing interfaces that could be displayed of monitors of unknown size. I demoed this project to the manager and his lead C# programmer, and they were impressed. After waiting almost 3 weeks upper management gave the area manager the approval to offer me the job.
