I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Mars in July 2015
Interview
The interview process was an online application, followed up by pre-screening from the recruitment team, then (if successful) a telephone interview with the line manager and the final stage is an all day assessment centre. The AC is split out into three parts. Firstly you complete a group task, then you have an hour to digest a business case study, 15 minutes to write a presentation and then 30 minutes to present your ideas on the case study to a panel of the interviewers. You are told at this stage if you are unsuccessful. If you get through, you will have a one-to-one interview.
The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Mars (Australia Island)
Interview
Started with a phone from recruiter. followed by personality test. Then it was two on one with hiring manager and colleague, the interview also allocated time for a case study and a small presentation post doing it.
This is great to hear. We’re glad your route into life at Mars was a supported and successful one. If you’d like to expand on your feedback, please get in touch with your People and Organisation team.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Mars (Dallas, TX) in Jan 2022
Interview
Contacted by a recruiter for a HireVue video interview. Those are super awkward in my opinion but I completed it and they asked pretty general questions. I must have done well on the video portion so I moved on to the panel interview w/2 executives via Zoom. I thought I did really well and have interviewed w/Mars before on the companion animal products side and once again, I didn’t get the position. Really disappointing but guess my age or maybe it’s just me that doesn’t fit the Mars profile of what they are looking for. So, rant over and thankful I am employed and good luck to anyone interviewing w/them. . Mars is a great company!

Interview
Interview process was good. I felt as if they were looking for a male for this position. They told me multiple times that this was a big job and I would be working very hard, get dirty, and sweaty. I felt as if they were disinterested from the beginning due to my female professional appearance. When sharing some of my experience, the main interviewer seemed to shrug off my work experience.
