I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Maverick Car (Boise, ID)
Interview
The company was responsive and very professional. I did a video interview and was called in to do another interview in person on location. I completed the interview but was not selected for the position. They said they would let me know if I didn't get the position, but I had to reach out to them after the second interview to get a reply. Very nice though! Wish I had gotten that job.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They are very concerned with preserving the company culture. It was very clear that was their highest priority. They ask some basic personality question stuff, but they also want examples of your skills.

Interview
Weird. Multiple converstaions with multiple people, None of them seemed to care about anything but booke they had read or were in the process of reading. Theliterally said they had a book club and talked about stuff they learned in books. Nothing aobut selling cars, except the owner said he really didn't like being known as a used car store, It was the weirdest interview ever. Also he kept saying they were going to outsell CarMax, which is A. False and B. Comically funny as he really thinks that is the case with a lot holding 80 cars.

Interview
Time-consuming, meandering, superficially pleasant but going nowhere. The owner has no idea what he needs. Lots of problems and no executive decision making skills to change them. This is a set up for failure.
