I applied online. I interviewed at Morgan Stanley (London, England) in Dec 2013
Interview
Firstly I had a phone interview with an analyst based in London, after that I was invited for a second round at the Milan Office and then in London for the assessment. I had questions about corporate finance and valuation in general plus something on both accounting and financial statement analysis.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The interview in Milan was very technical and quantitative with a lot of math questions and brain teasers without calculator.
The interview process was a great experience overall. I enjoyed the conversation and felt it was a strong opportunity to connect my background to the work Morgan Stanley does. There was a HireVue than one one one.

Question 1
Tell me about yourself and how you're a good match.
After submitting the application, they provide the online assessment link to all the people, I guess. After taking the assessment, the applicants who are moving on to the next step will have a Zoom interview with HR and a superday (final), respectively.

Question 1
Mostly about fit questions. Not a single technical question was asked.
Well organised, informational, and transparent process. After test there was a hirevue, then a telephone interview and then the superday, all of which was completed in about one month. I appreciated their speed and for not dragging out the process.

They were interested in my specific interest in Morgan Stanley.
