I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Morgan Stanley (New York, NY) in July 2015
Interview
A current employee referred me directly with the hiring manager. Recruiting then scheduled a phone meeting with the manager. Then the next week, had a day of 5 consecutive meetings with different members of the team; 30 minutes with each person.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Each team member asked to tell them about myself. Also, each had their own set of questions based on how they would collaborate with the person in the role. Overall, they focused on my resume, asked about my career goals, as well as hobbies. I thought the interviews went well, but to much surprise, I was told 3-4 days later by HR that they will not be moving forward with my candidacy.
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Morgan Stanley (Budapest) in July 2025
Interview
Online interview, time-box framed, typical American style, interviewers were correct, not stressful environment, overall positive but disappointing that after not being selected to the next round no feedback was given at all
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Morgan Stanley (Budapest) in May 2025
Interview
There were four rounds of interview:
1. Just a screening which went quite smoothly
2. With a product manager which went quite well as well. It was quite detailed and I think I answered maybe 70-80% of the questions
3. With the director of product I think which was in the US. It was very intense and quite detailed. He kept asking questions like a rapid-fire round.
4. I didn't hear back anything after that. I even followed up with a chart multiple times but I did not hear back.

Question 1
they were only asking basic PM questions and related to the projects I did.
I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Morgan Stanley in Apr 2024
Interview
I interviewed with Parametric/ Morgan Stanley in April 2023 [Seattle, WA].
Interview Process:
The process began with a recruiter screening call, followed by a 30-minute interview with the hiring manager and an on-site panel interview. Additionally, I was asked to complete a short assessment with questions on project management.
Experience:
The interviewers were knowledgeable and passionate about their work. However, the communication throughout the process was poor and inconsistent. Despite my proactive follow-up, it took more than a month to be informed that I was not selected after the on-site interview.
Interestingly, the same role was reposted under a different job ID, and I was invited to interview again. I informed the talent acquisition team that I had already interviewed for the position, but they confirmed that the team was open to interviewing me again. Oddly, within the first few minutes of the call with the recruiter, I was told that the hiring team did not want to interview me again.
While rejections are a normal part of the job search process, this experience felt particularly unprofessional and disappointing in terms of candidate treatment.
