I had a missed call from recruiter who left a voicemail late in the evening in regard to my application for a role and wanted to schedule a screening call first thing in the morning. Unfortunately I was driving and didn’t check my phone until a later time.
I decided out of courtesy to send a text to highlight my interest first thing in the morning the next day to schedule a call. No response from the recruiter after several hours a so I called the number. During the call, I was half way of introducing myself and the recruiter said “sorry, who’s this? I’m busy at the moment as I have a meeting shortly and will call you back.”
Several hours again later and no response.
I had high hopes with Nike, being a global sports brand and a simple due diligence of confirming application was received via email and would like to schedule a screening call would be considered the norm. But no, I’m playing reach around which has put me off wanting to work for such amazing brand/company moving forth.
