      Business Operations Interview

      10 June 2015
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Sunderland, North East England, England
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at NIKE (Sunderland, North East England, England) in Feb 2015

      Interview

Surprise telephone interview, I asked that they call back as I was just about to have an exam, which was fine. It also gave me more time to prepare. Following successful telephone interview, there was an assessment centre. During the assessment centre, there was first a presentation from the current HR interns, followed by a brief Q&A to see who had done their research. (This may have been the other way around). We then had a group activity where we were each given a sport. You had to pitch your sport to the group to get everyone to agree to spend our allocated budget on building facilities for the sport. There were around 10 sports, but 6 would be built, so you had to have a strong argument. We then had to present why we came to our conclusions. After this we had lunch, then another group activity, this time smaller groups. This was followed by a excel test, which looked to test your knowledge of V Lookup and pivot tables, and Sumifs (however i did not know what this was at the time). Then there were 1 to 1 interviews, it was a typical interview carried out by the the HR intern and someone above her.
