Question 1
Real world questions regarding past experiences. The team truly wanted to understand technical background and cultural fit.

Interview
2.5 months and 9 rounds (2 telephonic and 7 onsite) down, the whole communication channel just vanished in thin air! If the company is hiring a candidate with 13 years experience, they should as well have basic courtesy to say a yes or no. Basically, I spent days and days together to go through all 9 rounds and the HR simply decided not to respond to any follow up emails that I sent asking for a decision. Extremely horrible recruitment process and utterly unprofessional.

Interview
First was a phone screen with a corporate recruiter, they were quick to respond to my online application. Very engaging discussion, lots of back and forth and elaborating on each other. Recruiter was very excited to have me speak with his senior VP about the position and set up the next date for a call while I was on the phone.
Spoke with senior vp, very exciting call, I thought we connected very quickly, it was a engaging conversation that went well past the hour scheduled.
Fast forward - checked back weekly with both the recruiter and the vp for updates, typically I send a thank you email, then check back after a week. Checked back but never got a response from the recruiter or the vp.
RECRUITERS - IF A PERSON TAKES THE TIME TO SPEND SEVERAL HOURS TALKING WITH YOU AND A MEMBER OF THE COMPANY THE LEAST YOU CAN DO IS CLOSE THE LOOP, GOOD OR BAD, DROP A EMAIL TO THE CANDIDATE AND ADVISE THEM. THIS WOULD AVIOD GETTING POOR RATINGS ON GLASSDOOR
