I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at NVIDIA in May 2020
Interview
An Nvidia recruiter reached out to me on Linkedin, I proceeded to fill out the application form and got called back the following day. The recruiter was very clear as to how the recruitment process worked. Being an animator applying for a learning developer position, I needed to complete a home assignment, and then an additional 4 interviews before getting a final offer from HR and personal manager. The whole recruitment process was like no other I've experienced before. Could be because of my non-technical position-I didn't feel I was being tested what so ever. The interviewers were very kind and made the interview feel like a genuine-almost casual conversation you would have with any person you would meet for the first time. They wanted to get to know me, my creativity, hobbies and social skills.
Tip for those applying to Nvidia:
The company is extremely proud of it's workers as everyone is completely different, special and brings a different set of skills to the company.
To success the interview, one should show how he differs from the rest be it by leaning more into your personal hobbies, (as mentioned above, they want to know you're more than just another sharp mind) or maybe even talk about your love for pets or significant other.
Smile, be friendly, and truly listen to what the recruiters have to say. Talk slow and calm, and don't be afraid to be your true self.
