I was invited to do a phone interview for a position and did not have a very good experience with the recruiter. At the end of the phone call, I asked questions and the recruiter seemed impatient and was not helpful in telling me more about the position. The recruiter spent a lot of time at the end telling me other positions I should seek (that I would be overqualified for). They made me feel inferior and gave me the sense that I would not be getting an offer for this position, which I met all of the requirements for. I do not put the blame on Purina, but I truly hope not all of their recruiters are this way.
