I applied online. I interviewed at New Braunfels Utilities (New Braunfels, TX) in Jan 2026
Interview
This organization lacks transparency and fairness. There were two interviews. The first interview with the manager and team was great. I was offered the position. They offered below my asking salary that I had indicated on the job application. I asked then to consider my original salary request. I also asked for clarity on if the role was hybrid or completely in person. I inquired about flexibility as well. During the interview process I learned that the team I was working with was mainly remote. They said I would be 100% in office. I asked for 24 hours to discuss the offer with my husband since the pay was lower than expected. They agreed. They called me back a few hours later and withdrew their offer. They are looking to hire someone and pay under market value. Beware if you try and ask for a fair wage or clarification they will callously rescind the offer. The message here is if you ask for your value in pay and treatment they will throw you under the bus.

Interview
Laid back and easy going, wasn’t super nerve wrecking, asked simple questions, about myself and what experiences i have. Asked about safety, why I wanted to be hired, Talked about the apprenticeship and the process
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at New Braunfels Utilities (New Braunfels, TX) in Dec 2024
Interview
My first interview with the actual team I would be working with went well. The 2nd interview I was told I would receive a confirmation email which I never received. That was on a Friday and the interview was on a Monday. Since they have 2 locations, I showed up to the same location my 1st interview was at, and was told my interview was at another location with people from different departments.
