Interview
I applied online, after which I recieved link for online game test ( like psychometric evaluation) I guess I did well, after that I recieved email asking for salary expectation to which I replied what ever I was expecting as per I dusty norms for the position. I got an email stating that my expectation was more than what was budget so I asked what the budget was so that we could discuss but the recruiter said they can't discuss anything. I didn't find the attitude of recruiter professional.
I applied online. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Nielsen (Chicago, IL) in May 2018
Interview
The most surprising/disappointing thing is that Nielsen did not reimburse for travel expense for interviewing.
Applying for the job included an online assessment through Pymetrics. My results aligned with the HRBP position and I had a phone screen/interview with a recruiter. The recruiter was very nice and unfortunately the coordination of the on-site interview was choppy. The on-site interview was with 4 management level people. I felt the interviews with HR went well and the business leaders had strange questions - weren't sure how to partner with HR experience outside of the industry.
