I applied online. I interviewed at Nielsen (London, England) in Nov 2020
Interview
I applied and got an interview. I wasnt told when to complete the assesment they gave me which was all in polish and I had to google translate. On top of that the job I had applied to was offered to me for a 3 months contract.
I then emailed HR saying if its ok to submit my test the next working day, he emailed me back very rudely saying the role has been taken even tough I was in the middle of stages.
The culture from what I gather is not culturally diverse in the Oxford office and I am glad I dodged a bullet.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
in an initial video interview, standard questions were asked such as why Nielsen, why the job and what's your 5 year plan.
it was just regular interview process, asking about the past experience, interest in the field. Ask for excel skills. I interviewed for the technology department, so I was asked about my interest in technology and some related questions--trend technology
Was given a task and interview. Expect a brief based on a supplied dataset, then a presentation in person. Good process, straightforward, would recommend. Need to fill word limit to submit this review.
