I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (Colorado Springs, CO) in Sept 2016
Interview
I recently interviewed with Northrop Grumman's recruiter to discuss a potential fit within their business development/marketing department. After introducing myself and discussing my extensive experience in business accounts development/marketing skills as well as my personal interests for the aerospace industry, the gentleman pivoted the conversation and asked me if I was familiar with their "strict drug screening policy". I was shocked by his initial conversation. Was I being inaccurately stereotyped because I live in Colorado?? Drug screening is standard in most industries regardless. It's not like I walked into the interview wearing Birkenstocks and tie-dye. I was dripping in professionalism from head-to-toe: curled hair, black dress (knee length), heels and a rolex.
