I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (Falls Church, VA) in July 2015
Interview
Met with three managers associated with the program and discussed the existing program, opportunities to improve the program and how my past experience would help make those improvements. There was a discussion about the changes the organization was planning and what that would mean to the position for which I was interviewing.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman
Interview
The interview process was very straightforward. It typically featured a panel interview. who asked pretty thought-provoking questions. However, information about the benefits should have been provided in more detail prior to joining the company.
Average interview process. They use the STAR method, like every other employer, to evaluate questions. There was only two interviews (one with HR and one with the hiring manager). Takes forever to get an interview after you submit a resume, but the time from interview to notification was pretty short.

Question 1
Describe a time where you failed a task and what you learned from it.
First round is a call. They were extremely rude in every correspondence. I had honestly forgotten about it entirely and then I got their terse rejection email. Other employers have found better ways of rejecting people and speaking to them. It felt like they're in a different decade.
