The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Palantir Technologies in Oct 2011
Interview
Interviewed first with an HR person who asked some pretty easy screening questions. Later on I was told that I had done fine and was scheduled to interview with some people from QA/Development.
When it came time for the interview, I only ended up speaking with one employee, and we mostly just chatted about what they do, and just tech/industry in general. It was (surprisingly) pretty easygoing. Afterwards, I was called to schedule an interview at HQ.
However, the one thing I did glean from both interviews was that you definitely had to be on-site, in the engineering offices, in California. I decided I wasn't willing to relocate, so I asked them to cancel the process.

Question 1
Did you get a chance to play with our software? What are your thoughts?
I applied online. I interviewed at Palantir Technologies
Interview
I initially had a phone screen with HR to determine whether or not I had the skills that matched the job description. After that I had an interview with a member from the QA team who asked about my background and threw me a problem solving question. He asked me how I would go about testing an elevator.
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Palantir Technologies (Palo Alto, CA)
Interview
Talked to a recruiter at a career fair, had two screening phoning calls. Then flew out and did the on site where they do three different interviews all fairly similar to the screening. Nearly every question that was asked was posted here already, so just prepare well and be very interested in the company.
