      Manager Interview

      9 Jan 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Paylocity

      Interview

A many, many step interview process followed by developing a strategy plan and presenting it to team members. All for an individual contributor role. As icing on the cake, after the presentation, I heard nothing and then many weeks later got an automated HR email saying the position was filled. I was among the final candidates. Absolutely appalling.

      Manager Interview

      28 Oct 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Chicago, IL
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Paylocity (Chicago, IL) in Aug 2024

      Interview

The initial start of the interview process went smooth and fairly quick. After four rounds of interviews the recruiter began taking longer to respond and took over a week for follow up. The recruiter made it seem like I would be offered the role only to tell me a week later that the role had been offered to someone internally.

      Manager Interview

      28 July 2016
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Arlington Heights, IL
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Paylocity (Arlington Heights, IL) in July 2016

      Interview

The process last very long, it stretched about 3 weeks. The initial phone screen from recruitment. Then a 1:1 phone screen with the hiring manager. Next was an in-person panel review and lunch. That was a half a day ordeal, but nice. After that a video interview with an executive. Then another 1:1 phone screen with the hiring manager. Finally a personality test online. I invested a lot of time for no job offer, I guess that's the disheartening part. I would have liked to have been told the first week, that way it would save everyone's time. If I wasn't currently working it wouldn't be that bad, but having a job and having to spend that about of time, plus the time researching the company, it's a huge commitment.
