Absolute Crap Show I applied end of December 2023 and heard back from the recruiter a few days later. She was AMAZING! We talked and she ended it with "I'll look to scheduled something for you with the hiring manager after the holidays". Week goes by, nothing. I sent a follow up email that Monday. Nothing. She even said specifically in the interview I could text her, which I did. Still nothing. Determined, I messaged the facebook careers page. They said someone would reach out to me, which they did. This person then scheduled the interview for me with the hiring manager, but it was clear this was only a courtesy interview because the manager ended it right on time and didn't really ask any questions, just bs about what was going on. I thought this was good sign actually. Once again though, never heard back until I sent an email a few days later asking for an update. Recruiter replied right away saying i'd have something end of day. Delayed, I heard back the next day it was a no. I couldn't believe the amount work it took just to get noticed.
