An in-house editor set up a 20-30 minutes call on Microsoft Teams. For background, I have never worked in a publishing house, and it was my first interview. Overall, the interviewer was professional, and at the end of the call, he gave me a few pointers to improve my future interviews.

How many levels of editing are there? What level of editing do you do?
The job can get hectic, and you may have to put in extra hours. How good are you at handling pressure, assuming that all the titles you work on are on priority?
You will communicate with clients and the editor and tally their suggestions and editing. How will you organize it? Are you proficient in spreadsheets?

Had to complete an awkward online video "interview" which took nearly 2 hours. Questions were vague and did not really allow me to sell myself like they wanted. Would have killed an in-person interview.
