I applied online. I interviewed at PetDesk in July 2026
Interview
The recruiter asked to have the the phone interview rescheduled same day. After it was rescheduled, I was then told that the role required someone who could speak French. This was not in the initial job post. The interview was ultimately canceled.

We're really sorry for the frustration this caused. Situations like this are fairly uncommon, and we always do everything we can to ensure requirements are finalized before a role is posted. Our team is growing, and we'd love for you to stay engaged with us!
I applied online. I interviewed at PetDesk (West Hollywood, CA)
Interview
I had a phone screen with a recruiter from this company, and it was possibly the coldest phone screen I've ever had. The person only asked me questions about my most recent position, where I was for only a year, and nothing about my position before that where I was for nearly a decade and where the vast majority of my relevant experience for the current position comes from.
They also seemed wholly uninterested in getting know me at all beyond the questions about my one former position. Most phone screens like this are a back & forth conversation where you can let your personality and passion shine through. This one was cold and robotic. They did not schedule me for an interview with a hiring manager during the call, which I knew wasn't a great sign. Told me they'd get back to me by the end of the week. I sent a follow up email thanking them for their time and expressing that I believed I was a great fit for the role and why. They ghosted me.

Question 1
They asked me about time management - this seemed to be very important, which to me can be a sign of a company that way overloads their employees.
We're sorry to hear about this experience—it doesn't reflect the standard we hold ourselves to. Every candidate deserves a warm, engaging conversation and a timely follow-up, regardless of outcome. We're sharing this feedback with our recruiting team.
had 4 rounds of interview, 2 of those were with the same Manager, if well it was nice experience, they took long time by asking for straight 4 hours interview

Question 1
basically asked tell me about yourself, for different ladies, one of them repeated the interview, no really deep or too technical questions.
Thank you for the feedback, and we're glad the conversations themselves were positive. We recognize that a four-hour process is a significant time ask, and we'll take this into account as we evaluate our interview structure.
