      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Procter & Gamble (Cincinnati, OH) in Mar 2013

      Interview

I submitted resume/cover letter through the online portal, and took an intelligence/personality test. About 5 months later, I was contacted via email to set up a 30 min behavioral phone interview. A week later, I was invited to an on-site interview. They flew me in, put me up in a suite at the Westin, and set me up for a dinner at Morlein's brewery (great downtown restaurant) with another internship candidate and a current Purchasing manager. He was very helpful and answered any questions we had about the process, while talking about his own experience in P&G and in Cincinnati. The next day, the interview consisted of an hour-long 2-on-1 behavioral interview. NOTE they leave about 30-40 minutes for you to ask the interviewers questions, so come prepared. After the interview, candidates must re-take the timed intelligence test in person. This version is slightly more difficult than the first time around, but nothing to worry about. Afterwards, all interview candidates are given a tour of the office and a P&G history lesson in the archive room. Finally, we were treated to lunch in a conference room with several full-time Purchasing new-hires. My offer was sent via e-mail a couple hours later. All in all, it was a very thorough process that leaves you very impressed with the company and the people.
