The interview process with Progressive was honestly one of the best, yet intensive interviews I have ever completed! I felt that the recruiter and hiring manager were very receptive, engaged, and showed genuine interest in me. I appreciated the time they took to ensure that I was a good fit for the position, and I truly enjoyed the entire hiring process.
I had a phone interview with a recruiter, which lasted about half an hour, and then I was referred to do an in-person interview with the hiring manager at the actual job location. The in-person interview lasted about one hour, and I was given more detailed information about the position, and asked approximately 8 STAR questions. The questions were thorough, but I was prepared, due to my extensive healthcare and customer service experience, which I was able to discuss and reference to throughout the interview. If you have excellent communication, flexibility, and interpersonal skills, you will be able to adequately answer the STAR questions, which are all focused on your prior job experiences and interactions with coworkers and customers.
The entire process took only two weeks, which was fairly quickly. Below is a timeline of the process from the initial application to the acceptance offer:
