I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at PwC (Bengaluru) in Apr 2017
Interview
Best example for HR mismanagement. Around 450+ candidates were called on a single day with mail invite.
I reached at 9.30 am. 80% of the people were made wait at least for 5 hours just to appear for first round on that day! There were candidates from 4- 10 years of experience. When contacted HR about till when we have to wait for first round. She responds with - If others are waiting, why can't you wait? I mean, Really? this is how you respond to candidate who is waiting for last 4 hours for first round?
For lunch, again long queue, single person to serve and HR expected everyone to return within half an hour!
Then finally post 5.5 hours, they somehow arranged more panelists to take interviews. Great! (Where were they from the morning?)
My turn came. It was 4.35 pm! A guy came and started with questions (shared later). I answered most of them. He seemed little irritated. Asked me if I have worked anything apart from main skill. I replied not much since that was the skilled I was being interviewed for.
He said, by this time you might know whats your feedback from me. I said I'm not sure. He asked me to leave for the day.
Human Resources guys, you seem really inefficient. Just because of your irresponsibility and inefficiency, others are losing their good amount of energy and time. Work on it!
First round STAR questions and behavioral questions. Second round, it was mostly oral verbal technical questions, working through talking about technical projects I've worked on before. Asked if I worked in a group setting or a hackathon.
