      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at PwC (Brussels) in Jan 2024

      Interview

The first phase of the recruitment process involves numerical and logical tests on the Talogy website. These tests focus on percentage variations, calculating averages and solving logical sequences. I recommend practicing on sites like Mon QI to prepare effectively. Then, in the second phase, candidates are asked to create a business case on google meet. They receive a 15-page document by e-mail and have 1h30 to solve the case. The case involves organizing a trip for friends, requiring average calculations on Excel, a clear presentation and cashflow tables. You need to be prepared to use excel and work quickly. The HR interviews are classic, focusing on the candidate's motivations, potential contributions, career path and qualities/weaknesses. Questions are also asked about the courses enjoyed during the Master's course. The interview with the manager requires a basic knowledge of accounting and auditing, with questions on subjects such as IFRS 15,16,..., materiality, or accounting entries (car purchases, sales, year-end entries). Questions also concerned the differences between IFRS and BE GAAP, as well as the nature of liabilities. Finally, during the interview with the manager, the candidate is asked to review his profile and discuss his auditing skills. Specific questions on auditing, such as: is the audit of all accounts done by a qualified auditor? Personally, I turned down the offer after five years of study, as the salary offered was €2,300, which didn't meet my expectations given the anticipated overtime.

      Application

I interviewed at PwC (St. Gall)

      Interview

Unprofessionelles Gespräch, wurde an falschen Standort geschickt (1h Fahrtzeit). Keine Entschuldigung oder entgegenkommen. Viele unnötige Vorstellungsrunden. mit sich wiederholenden Fragen. Für die angeforderte Stelle (Werkstudent) wurde relativ viel Vorwissen benötigt, was schlussendlich sowieso on the job gelernt wird.
