I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at REI (New York, NY) in June 2014
Interview
REI generally conducts phone screens and phone interviews and rarely does in-person interviews. This is to reduce as much bias as possible. You are interviews by the person you will be working for as well as another manager from another store or district manager. This is also to prevent bias. The entire process takes between 30 minutes to an hour.

Question 1
Tell us about how you helped develop or help a fellow colleague during a difficult time. What was the outcome and what would you have done differently?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at REI (Chicago, IL) in Oct 2013
Interview
Interview process was with 2 people, the SM and another sales manager. The interview process was extremely poor, neither one of them could ask an original question as they just read word for word off of a scripted HR sheet. But on the other side of that, it made for answering the questions really easy. Just be detailed in your examples.
